Introduction

Dexter was the culmination of a year’s worth of work. My partners Steven Uyetanaka, Meng Cheng Hsieh and I were assigned the task of building a MicroMouse robot as our senior design group project at CSUN (California State University at Northridge). It took quite a few Cokes and many bags of tortilla chips, but in the end our mouse turned out well. In the first contest we entered, Dexter was the only mouse to reach the middle of the maze.
